Bow materials needed for your own bow

Depending upon fate one can decide here from the split raw wood to the prefabricated bow.
Depending upon prefabrication degrees , few different tools are necessary. For your first bow, you should not select a draw weight over 25 kg.

Matured and stored wood for the building of bows:

With each bow stave processing is possible on a firm growth ring.

Recommendation:

Work only with simple bow woods before you order Yew bow or a kit. You should have successfully built at least 5 bows before.

Yew
